A Thankful Mother's Testimony
“…when I first enrolled my children in the Jesus Express choir, I was hoping for a Christ-centered and fun musical for them. I was not disappointed. The director, Mr. Rainwater, is assisted by his wife and they are both incredibly talented…Many unexpected benefits have also been realized through our involvement in the Rainwater’s music ministries. It has been a positive mixture of personal growth and maturity, advancement of musical and performance skills, and development of coordination and confidence. Additionally, it has provided an avenue for the development of rich relationships with others in the home school community.

“I will forever be thankful for the kindness and sensitivity that the Rainwaters have shown to my children, all the while prodding them toward excellence and godliness. They do their utmost to provide an environment that is God-honoring, encouraging, Biblically-based and fun. We have truly been blessed to receive the musical training, coupled with the character training, which has allowed us, in turn, to be prepared to minister to others through the gift of music…I would strongly recommend Mr. and Mrs. Rainwater for choir and music lessons.”

“A GIFT TO THE HOMESCHOOLING COMMUNITY”

“My children started in the Jesus Express in 2013 when they were 9, 7, and 6. They had no previous musical experience, yet Mr. Rainwater instantly engaged them and the rest of the choir with his energy & silliness, yet professional expectations, and before they even realized it, they had learned an entire song, complete with choreography in 20 minutes!

Having had an education and vocal/musical background myself, I see the professionalism and musicality that Mr. Rainwater possesses coupled with a love for and connection with the children. He runs a tight ship, teaching the children responsibility, respect, and focus, yet has fun at the same time, preparing wonderful, professional children’s musicals.

He truly is a gift to the Sacramento homeschool community with so much to offer. My children have had a great time making friends, learning the musicals and performing in Jesus Express! There’s not a week that goes by that they aren’t completely excited to go to choir rehearsal! It’s been a great experience, all thanks to Mr. Rainwater!”
