Angelgrams – Christmas Musical for Kids and Teens
Undercover angels, posing as news reporters, are passing out special “Angel-Grams” inviting everyone to come see the “about to be born” Christ-Child. Two competing news teams, “The Evening Double Standard” and “The Daily Fluke,” head off on a trail of leads to find out who will print the headline first! Mary and Joseph, shepherds, and many of the “Christmas characters” are visited. They come together at the stable to provide a stirring culmination to the story as the reporters come to the conclusion that “Jesus is the ultimate good news” who can put an end to all their problems!

This is definitely not your ordinary kids’ musical! PRODUCT DETAILS
Performance time: Approx. 44 minutes
For Ages: 6-18
Speaking Parts: 16 (can be reduced to 13)
Soloists: Joseph, Gabby (Gabriel), Heartless Killjoy. Plus several other short solos or shout outs can be assigned to any choir member.
Costumes: Biblical characters, News Reporters (white shirts, quality jeans, dark shoes), Texy Mexy (Texas Cowboy/girl, optional pajamas with teddy bear), Elizabeth (old-lady dress with shawl).
Necessary Props: Notepads and pencils, newspapers (for reporters), Angelgrams (rectangular cardboard pieces covered with wrapping paper, ribbons and creative stamps), two invitations (on stationery or other paper), a scroll, pregnancy padding or costume for Mary, a carpenter’s table, mallet, saw, other carpentry tools, a manger (in progress or finished), a guest registry, a quill (classy feather pen), a stool, a citation pad (notepad), pencils or pens, 2–3 fruitcakes or fake fruitcakes, shepherds’ crooks, optional sheep props, a cane, a gray wig (for Elizabeth).
